Parking sensors supplied and fitted.

Our sensors use a learning system, this allows installation on vehicle’s with tow bar’s and external spare wheels. Obstacles such as walls, high kerbs and posts can cause severe damage to cars while reversing, these parking sensor kits offer an ideal solution for drivers who care for their vehicle.  

How we fit parking sensors  

First, we remove the bumper and associated parts rear lights etc.  most bumpers have factory parking sensor positions marked to the inside of them. If this is the case then we are good to go. If not,some calculations ensure the sensors work without any false readings.   We then drill the appropriate size of the hole and insert a sensor head into each. Passing sensor wires through to the boot of the vehicle, where we plug the sensor wires into the control box.

The bumper and any associated parts are then re-fixed, and the control box installed, the connection between the control box and your reverse lights is then made. If at any time you wish to remove the sensors the original wiring will be the way it was when we found it.

Since the small speaker can be quite loud, installing it in the boot of your vehicle is a good idea. The connector goes into the control box secured under the left or right bulkhead, this will ensure no water can damage the control box unit.  

We then move objects of varying sizes in and out of the vicinity of the vehicle bumper, adjusting the parking sensor sensitivity if necessary.   The system switches on when the driver selects the reverse gear, an acoustic beep notifies the driver of the distance of obstacles this makes reversing much safer.
